(By the way, I’m posting this now since Haruhi already aired, and depending on what episode it was I wouldn’t be able to compile this list calmly (blocked 4chan, closed my anime irc channels, closing comments, no spoilers braw))
For the new/not posted before stuff:
- Kure-nai: I posted a lot about it on my twitter, it was a series that was all over the place, from action to drama to slice of life to musical. The start was meh, I was enjoying the middle, but the ending killed the series to me. Downloaded it because it was by the same dude and animated by the same studio as Denpa Teki etc

- Kanokon: Uh… dumb ecchi series, watched and promptly forgotten about. It’s about wolves and foxes hitting on Mamiko Noto or something. (the DVD specials are just the characters being naked, fucking lol)

- Aoi Hana: Dorama yuri series, looks pretty interesting, if not ridiculous because of everybody being a lesbian (well, there are two girls-only schools in that district.) Scenarios are pretty good looking though. As always I’m missing lots of plot things because I can’t remember names to save my life. Watched two episodes of the six downloaded, too lazy to watch the rest.
Only screenshot I had, but I swear the series looks good :P
- Hayate the Combat Butler: Looks interesting, if not a little too comedic 4th wall breaking for my tastes. Watched two episodes, and while I liked it (yay Rie), I feel too lazy to follow up with the whole 52 episodes (of what’s supposed to be filler). Don’t have a screenshot and the series is saved in the external HD faaar away there ->
- Rosario + Vampire: Came for the generic harem aspect, considered dropping for the whole LOLGRITTY aspect, and there’s the whole monsters thing. I’m already 11 episodes in so I’ll finish, but meh.
The loli witch and that fucking bat are the only good characters ~dechuu
- Akane-iro ni Somaru Saka: Started this yesterday, all stars seiyuu cast, awesome hair dos, nosy school setting, surprise kiss and suddenly she’s your fiancee setting. Pretty good for a first episode. Supposedly it gets bad to the end, but that’s the joy in watching something with no expectations. Downloaded from a “recommendation”, and you know what that means.
Sensei end confirmed.
I think that’s all for new stuff since my last update post. Now for the seasonal stuff:
- Bakemonogatari: Fucking best anime I’ve seen in ages, loving it loving it loving it.
I'm a SHAFT fan after this series.
- GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class: Hitosu hitotsu hitotsu hitotsu, hitotsu hitotsu hitotsu hitotsu. Cute girls with giant glasses do cute things, dream about weird shit, and stuff. Wasn’t planning to keep up with this but well.

- Kanamemo: My deeeeaaaaar my deeeeeeaaaaaar. Again a good and funny slice of life, really enjoyable actually.
Something is happening here, I can tell.
- Princess Lover!: The Harem cast begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 12th. (Not a bad series, just generic. The last episode was ridiculously funny though :P)
Well no shit miss
- Sora no Manimani: Really cute, way underrated, which is kind of a shame. School life with the serious loner finding the value of friendship (wat) (and falling for an old acquaintance too.)
Do want that camera though
- Spice & Wolf II: Horo~n. The emo arc just finished apparently, with a good (but very confusing!) end. lol moeconomics, I gotta read the wikipedia episode summaries later to fully catch what is happening. Including the disappearance of 200 silver coins or something.
We learned Horo's real name though! (Uh... is that an R?)
- Haruhi S2: Already aired, I’m isolated from my usual anime chatting to avoid spoilers, :o (I accidentally read two lines of spoilers this morning, which I thankfully forgot about already, something about Koizumi being fabulous or the like.)
And that’s it for anime. Now for manga… hm… the Kannagi, Zero no Tsukaima and Nusunde Lilith chapters from this release. (<3 Foolrulez)
Finally, for music, Bakemonogatari’s ED single is out (have I told you that I really really like Bakemonogatari?), love it love it love it. Both the single and the b-side.
