Same drill as with chapter 29, better quality scans, reworded and retranslated in some parts. Noteworthy:
- In page 45, Yukki’s dad says “Acchi” (アッチー), which we believe is slang/dialect for “Atsui” (あつい), “hot”. Old scans had just left it as “Acchie.”
- During the exercise sequences, they stretch the vowels when counting, “ooone”, “twooo” was the best way to keep that imo, sorry if it looks weird. :P
- In page 49, it looks like the balloon is Minene’s, but the text is Yukki speaking, so yeah.
- Page 52 had a new balloon compared with the magazine!
- In page 70, the previous scans had those balloons as being Yukki’s. While it’s not entirely clear, the way Kurou is addressed there points to them being Minene’s, so I adjusted them as such.
- The letter in page 71 was retranslated, original scans mentioned school and work, both of which weren’t there. Blaming that on hard to read handwritten kanji on bad quality magazine scans, lol.
- Page 74 had “kachou” (課長), which is the term Nishijima uses to refer to the 4th, all other scans around have that as “captain”, so I kept it like that. Same for the orphanage’s name on 73.
Aaaaand hopefully that clears up the differences between the original Twilight Scans and this release, for those comparing them (I know you are.)
